The FEFCO 203 is a box that can be described as a tank due to its reinforced and sturdy sides, and would undoubtedly win against other boxes in a heavyweight “boxing” match. It can take on items heavier than 30 kg without even batting an eye.
Why should you use the FEFCO 203?
The standard FEFCO 203 features longer flaps that cover the top and bottom of the box in their entirety. This means that the box has the extra protection and strength of two or three full layers of corrugated. It is also fairly straightforward to assemble due to the top flap and bottom closure.

For an added layer of protection, this box can be made with two separate parts: a top half and a bottom half. This design creates a double-layered construction on all four sides of the box in addition to the three layers on the top and bottom, which significantly enhances the durability and the safety of the fragile item inside. This top and bottom model also allows you to package heavier products. In the linked video, we feature this design with an additional optional grip for easy lifting of your box.
When to Use the FEFCO 203?
This box can be used to package and ship most items, but is better suited for heavier and more fragile items such as industrial components or spare parts. This box can handle items that weigh upwards of 30 kg.
This box is practical, sturdy, and easy to assemble. The printing speed depends on the size, but the Slimbox makes quick work of this design. It typically takes around one minute to assemble, and for maximum sturdiness, a strong glue is applied to ensure the safety of the item.
This box is not necessarily the most aesthetic, but customer satisfaction is guaranteed when their heavy and fragile item arrives protected in a strong and durable box.
